About Founder/CEO

Hugo Pereira MBA RT (R)(T) is the founder and CEO of SkinRadX, with a distinguished career spanning 25 years in healthcare, particularly in Radiation Oncology.

Hugo brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for patient care that has earned him multiple prestigious awards, including the ASRT’s "I Am the Gold Standard" award and recognition as a finalist in 2022. His dedication to enhancing healthcare quality and patient outcomes has shaped his leadership approach in both clinical and entrepreneurial settings.

Hugo holds an MBA in Healthcare Business and a Double Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy. He also earned a Radiography Degree among other healthcare qualifications. A native of Portugal, Hugo is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients and professionals.

An entrepreneur at heart, Hugo has successfully managed several businesses over the years, applying his broad healthcare knowledge to foster innovation and improve patient care systems. Hugo's leadership has driven the successful implementation of numerous initiatives, such as the creation of the Allied Health Award and his contributions to process improvement studies and clinical research. He has been involved in multiple committees and projects focused on professional recognition, patient satisfaction, and high-reliability organizations within healthcare. As an advocate for continuous growth, Hugo remains committed to the advancement of healthcare, from clinical innovations to leadership development, making a lasting impact on the communities he serves.
